El Araj Excavations Day 11 (Week 3/Day 2). We continue to make good headway expanding our dig and deepening the probes. More squares are moving down towards the Roman level. Lots of coins and Roman pottery. Among the pictures are the expanding work on squares, a Byzantine coin still in situ, and a handle from a Roman cooking pot.
